No option for tipping screen

From what I'm reading, there's supposed to be an option in the Checkout/Tipping screen on the mobile app, to let you add a "Separate Tipping Screen" to the checkout process. However, there's no option for me.

 

Do you know if there's some other reason I wouldn't be able to set that? I generally don't want to print out receipts so the screen would be the only way to get credit card tips. When I walk through the screens to try checking out, there's no option there.

From what I found out, apparently the "Separate Tipping Screen" option only shows up when you are connected to a printer. I'm not on a printer, and the option is unnecessary in that case, since there's no way to do paper tips if you don't have paper.

 

I hadn't run a test transaction through when I posted this, but I just did, and I did get the tipping screen after swiping the card. I was expecting to see it before swiping, but after works just fine.

 

So everything is all good.

When I go to checkout, I do not see the tip option even after I setup of  the tip option (toggled on) why so ? and how to solve this and get the tip option when I checkout?

If you have the same concern I did, the tipping screen worked just fine, but it shows up after running the card through, not before. So the only way to test was to run a test transaction and actually run a card, then you'll see the tip screen. I verified this by just running a $1 transaction with my own personal card, but I don't know if there's a way to test it without doing a real charge.
