New Checkout Experience, cannot change variation

I have items that have multiple variations, like can and 4-pack.
Previously, I will scan a can, tap the item, and change the variation to 4-pack, be able to set the number of four-packs and update the checkout.
Now I cannot do that.
If I scan a can, and then tap it, I can choose the 4-pack it brings me to a screen that does not allow me to choose the number of four-packs but rather it appears to be the Items page you would get if you went from the Inventory page. So I cannot change to the 4-pack variation.
If I manually choose the item by search and choose 4-pack immediately, it does work. But I cannot change to the 4-pack variation. This is a critical issue for our workflows.

Is there a way you could Upload an image of what you are seeing after you scan an Item and need a different variation?

I have most of my Variations having a SKU for me to scan to avoid selecting a variation.  Now on my inscense I do have variations without barcodes and when I need to select a variation, there is a Pop Up on the right of my Square stand that shows the 1st variation of the item and says in black letters select variation, in blue letters it shows the 1st variation name.... Angel Dreams in my case.   

So maybe if you tap the Blue Variation name next to select youtr Variation this would help you.   

 

I do not like the wording because before instead of having the First Variation in Blue lettering it use to say Choose or Select Variation in the Blue lettering.  Now it seems as thous a variation is already chosen and your stuck.
