I know this has been a feature request since at least 2018. Any updates? I fear we are going to have to switch to a different POS soon as we now have multiple bars at our venue. It's impossible for us to send bartenders to other stations to try and find a customers credit card to close out. Also we had a mix up the other night and the bartender gave away a card to the wrong customer.

I appreciate it, but we have open tickets. It doesn't store the cc information. We still have to hold on to the card.

Hey there @courtney511
While Open Tickets will not store the customer's card on file it will allow you to use it as long as you swiped the card when opening the ticket.
Here are the steps to make it work:
- Tap Keypad > Tickets.
- swipe the customer’s payment card.
- Enter a ticket name > Save.
- Add items or custom amounts to the ticket.
- Tap Save.
When is time to close it you follow these steps:
- Tap Tickets > tap your customer’s ticket to add it to the current sale.
- If you’re using a receipt printer and have Receipts and Bills toggled on, you can print your customer’s ticket before settling the payment. To do so, tap the ticket name > Print Bill.
- Tap Charge > Select the card that was swiped > complete the sale.
I suggest practicing this with a personal card (and refunding afterward) so you can see how the process works.
I hope this information is helpful!
