We are a retail store and want to create a fund for helping our community. Is there are way to create a SKU that can collect donations while customers are purchasing items in our store?
And how do we manage the balance of those donations made?
Thanks!

Hi Kolson,
I believe we need a few more details as to how you plan to use the SKU. An SKU is an alphanumeric code (usually 8 to 10 characters) and it's unlike other type of product coding. SKUs are created by individual businesses. In other words, you can create one for any of your items, there's no specific rules as it's just for your internal reference and tracking. Assuming you're not a non-profit, there's no difference in treating a donation like any other item on the POS App. The transaction processing fees are the same regardless if the transaction is a physical item or a donation. The funds minus the transaction processing fees are deposited into your bank account. What happens after the donation is deposited is up to you and how you have setup your record keeping. It may be best to consult a professional for advice on your plans for your Community Scholarship Fund.
