Initiated bill pay 36 hours ago and no movement?

I am trying to pay a bill but it’s been 36 hours so far and the Square system has done nothing: money is still in balance and bill says it’s processing. Since it’s an internal process, should it really take this long? Customer service was nice and all but they said everything looks good. That was 12 hours ago. Honestly, I’m not finding this feature very impressive with this stage. Has anyone else had experience with pay bills? Any insights would be greatly appreciated… Thanks.
