How to edit SMS receipt verbiage

The canned verbiage on the SMS receipt generated does not meet our business requirements. Is there a way to edit the message?

@jhunter4 I don’t think that works work either. Which leaves us with you submitting a feature request which unfortunately is probably not going to be a quick process. I definitely understand your dislike of the word soon in this case. In the short term, it  might be worth adding your own customer message with clarification about what “soon” means in your case. Of course, that won’t be foolproof, either.

Hi @jhunter4.  There are some customization options for receipts found from your online dashboard > Account & Settings. Business Information > Receipts. Beyond what is offered there, we can’t change the receipt verbiage.  If you feel strongly that you need more control over this, you can head on over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request, most likely to the POS team.  That will get the ball rolling.

Can you elaborate on what it is, exactly, that you need to change because of your business needs?

Hi @TheRealChipA , I appreciate the suggestions. The final message sent for the receipt via SMS states: "Your order for 1 item at [Company Name] has been confirmed and will ship soon." In our case, we are taking pre-orders in a retail setting but delivery will not occur for about a month. Ideally, we would remove the "ship soon" phrase or adjust it to something else. I could try the "Custom Text" option you referenced under the Business Info area, but I'm not sure it would impact the SMS message and likely would not overwrite the canned jargon.
