How do I track transactions from different squares
Hi All,
We do craft fairs and sometimes the wife and I will split up and do two separate events in one day. We have just the one square account but we have two devices for our phones to take payments. This currently works, but the transactions are all intermingled in the report because we use the same login.
How do I set it up so that if we do different events we can see the transactions separately for each event?

A couple of options...
A. You can create multiple locations in square. You can have the same login, but choose a different location for each device/market.
B. If you have team management, you create separate team members and each log in with your individual team login and then filter transactions and reports by team member.

A simple way is to setup device codes.
Have wifes phone as Wifes Phone as the Device name, and yours as your nmae Phone.
Each of you will then have a 12 or 16 digit code to enter, and then you can filter reports by device.
I have Cash and CC for Ipad 1, and CC as Ipad 2, then my personal Ipad is set as Mobile Ipad which I did not name right away.
You only have to enter the 12-16 digit code 1 time unless there are major updates to Square or the Devices firmware.

You can also filter by device on all of your reports @Lucardious .
On the reports page, click the Filter By button at the top, then Device. A new dropdown box will appear, and both phones will be seen here. The names of the phones usually are taken from whatever you named the phone. In the iOS world, it's usually something like Lucardious's iPhone.

@Duey ;
As I see this is your first post welcome to the square users forum.
The Filter is available on the computer website of your Square Dashboard. The filter options are limited to date and top X. So the filtering is best used on the Square Dashboard on a computer in roports at the top. There are different filters for Which Device, What Cataegory, etc.
Here is a link to log in on a computer to your Square Dashboard, the select Reports on the Left Side of the Home page.
