Has anyone's POS systems close their cash drawers automatically and randomly?

Hello! 

 

We have multiple locations that use the Square POS, both iPad with stand, card reader, and cash drawer, as well as Square Terminal. Every week at no particular time and day, the system would just close the cash drawer with no drawer history receipt printing out. Our opening team is usually met with the "Starting Drawer Amount", even though we did not close the register. 

 

If this has happened to anyone, any kind of advice helps. I have been in contact with Square Support for about 3 months now, and none of their solutions have worked. Thank you in advance!

Since you mentioned this happening on multiple devices I will go ahead and recommend you reach out to our direct support team so they can take a closer look at your account and escalate this to our product team if troubleshooting doesn't resolve it.
