Any guidance on adding discount codes at point of sale on services for customers? I'm trying to run an email marketing promotion giving a discount on my services for a limited time. No matter what I do the discount does not get automatically added and there is no spot at checkout for a code which is a bad ball drop by Square.
there is a way to use coupon codes in Square.

Oh ya @CoachBeau, currently, discounts can only be applied through Square Online and not the booking site. This has been noted as a feature request.

This ignores the question. Is there a way to use a discount code on the SERVICE BOOKING checkout page? I do not believe there is.

To better assist you, could you clarify whether you’re using the Point of Sale app or the Appointments app for service bookings? Additionally, did you set up your services as items in the Point of Sale? Providing these details will help address the issue more effectively.

This would be from the online booking site. So it wouldn’t specifically or always be On an app from the customers point of view. When they Select a service to purchase and schedule on my website, it takes them to the Square booking site and there is no option to enter a discount code.

There needs to be a place on the square online checkout for services where the CLIENT can apply this discount code.
As it stands a client would have to message me with the time they are requesting the appointment. I would have to invoice and manually enter the code myself and send them the invoice.
What we need is somewhere the client can type the discount code into at the time of reserving and paying for the appointment online BY THEMSELVES.
I am out of town and trying to make sure I still have income with a quick coupon code for the weekend and unfortunately am still having to work and manually set up the appointments myself which defeats the purpose of sending out an automated email while I try to take a weekend and grieve with my family.
The replies do not acknowledge that there is no option for a discount code on the SERVICES checkout window. This needs to be resolved for those of us who only offer service bookings.
I've been requesting this for years.
