Can we accept Canadian currency?

I have Canadian customers and was wondering if they can pay me through Square after I do the calculations myself? I live in the US

If you want to figure out the exchange rate for cash or check payments and accept Canadian currency, you're free to do so (you will still enter the amounts in US dollars, though.)  However, charged and debited sales will be processed in American currency.

I've put in a feature request for having more than one Cash currency payment type. This would be an instance where that feature would also be a good solution for a workaround for them wanting to take CAD in the US. My request is to take USD cash in Canada and not have to do all the math for converting it to CAD to lump it all in under "Cash" as one thing.
