Can I use Square products for sales of Tobacco Products?

I work in a vape shop and the owner is curious if we can get Sqaure as our payment processor when we sell Tobacco products?

Hey @kaosreigning

Square does allow the sale of Alcohol and Tobacco for in-store customers.
It is only not allowed to sell these via internet/mail order/telephone orders - in-person is just fine!

I would like to create a site for my head shop where I will be selling such items as water pipes, bubblers, chillums etc... Does Square allow such transactions?

I saw a similar thread in this community but the answer was not helpful. I do not wish to sell tobacco and alcohol. Only tobacco products.

Specifically vape products online. Are they acceptable to sell? It only speaks about marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Hi Kassi, The alcohol sales would be in store (bar) and the cigar (tobacco) sales would be in store and if possible online (Ontario only) as the tobacco laws allow for sale of tobacco in the province. If Square will not allow the online tobacco, can I use a different payment provider just for that aspect as I would love to use square for everything else. Thank you for replying
