I would like to be able to monitor open tickets from my Dashboard on my desktop in my office, is there a way to add this to my dashboard or view open tickets from here?
If I'm understanding you correctly. You're wanting to see open tickets on your phone after installing the Square app. Just to clarify, for whatever reason open tickets cannot be viewed in the dashboard, but can be in the Square app. I have found when I've had managers do this on their phones, they have to enable "Open Tickets" individually on their device. You will see this option under the "Settings" category within the Square app on your device. Once this is done go back to "Checkout" and tap the "Tickets" button in the upper left. You should see all open tickets. If not, this is where permissions settings within the dashboard might have to be set to enable "Manage All Open Tickets". Hope this helps!
Just checking back to see if there's been any progress on this as I continually have to leave my office and go to the Square registers to create, view, or do pretty much anything with front end POS functionality. A PC verson or SaaS version would be helpful for us admins. Love the dashboard for it's ease of access on a PC, but it's missing one major module ... the ability to emulate the registers functions and make changes to open tickets, create open tickets, comp tickets or items, apply discounts to open tickets, etc., etc. Likely would never need to accept a cash or credit card payment from my desk.
