All done screen after payment on Connected Terminal

My square register got busted so got a terminal to use as a customer display.

So many annoying little UX glitches that really really slow down processing.

 

Biggest bug, how the hell do I get rid of the All Done! screen automatically after a payment is complete?

 

Do I have to tap on New Sale on the terminal every single time?

Tapping on New Sale on the POS app on the iPad does not refresh this on the terminal too.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you!

While I don't have a Square Terminal available to test this myself, it doesn’t seem quite right.

When you select "New Sale" on your POS, are you able to start building a new cart on your screen?

Try creating a new cart and then selecting "Charge" to see if your Square Terminal updates to reflect the new sale.

Please give this a try and let me know what you find.
