some customers have trouble on demand delivery/pick up settings

We have pick up & delivery available on our online store/site.  However sometimes our customers have trouble with their online orders.  They want pickup but it tells them they are getting delivery OR they want delivery and it says pick up.  These issues have happened with regular customers who have ordered online before.  Is it possible to put the delivery & pick up options in one place so that it is clearer for the customer? 

Sometimes it just isn't polite to explain to them that the options are in 2 different places.  The customers who call us say they tried a couple times before they called us. By the time that they call us we just take their pickup order over the phone because they are so frustrated already.

HI, you can check a couple of places to see what may be the issue.

 

Is Pickup & Delivery properly setup?

Online Dashboard, Settings, Pickup & Delivery, upper right Advanced Settings, Default Fulfillment Method

 

Does each item correctly state its fulfillment method?

 

Checkout Fulfillment Method properly setup?

Online Dashboard, Settings, Checkout, upper right Advanced Settings, scroll down to Default Fulfillment Method

Wow! The checkout default was set to delivery, I changed it to pickup. Hopefully that solves it. Thanks!!
