I've tried a few different ways to set up shipping options. Right now I'm only trying to make two available for customers to choose from - a $10 option and an $18 option. The important part is that the customer should be able to have a choice. I ship only, no pickup.
I've tried entering the two options as different shipping profiles and as different rates under a single shipping profile. Every time, only the least recent entry shows up as a default on the checkout page. I have successfully set up a situation where certain items ship for free, but this is an automatic apply, not a consumer choice.
What do I need to do to get the customer the choice I want them to have?

Are you wanting the customer to choose 10 or 18? or do you want it to be for example 10.00 for the first 2 items , then 18.00 for anything over 2 item? We use a graduated shipping scale, starts at 5.00 and caps at 10.00. If you want it to scale you can go to your shipping profile and click edit. The change the rate rules. I will include a photo of how we do ours. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

Thank you, but I do want the customer to be able to choose, not to scale it.

Hello @pdxanim !
You can achieve this by creating two rates within the same shipping profile.
You can create as many rates as you'd like, for example, you can have "standard shipping" and "expedited shipping" under the same shipping profile, meaning the same items and destinations can be sent by either standard or expedited shipping and each will have a different cost.
Let me know if this information helps.
Thank you.
