I have a farm and want to sell local produce, can I link square with my website? I don't have much upfront money to pay for a nice website and want to do this as cheaply as I can.
Hello @BergerCreek thanks for your question. you can go about this several ways...
- You can create a new online website through your Square Online Dashboard, where you can create new items. these items will allow customers to pay online with their Credit Card and you can either ship items, or sell in person or hold for pickup.
- You can also keep a current website if you have it, and just create a new Item for things you want to sell. You can create a checkout link for those items, and then just copy/paste that item link into your current website. Clicking on those links will take your customers to your Square page to pay for those items. This may be easier if you don't want to setup a new site, but it won't look/feel as integration.
You could start out with the second option while you slowly build a new site from your Square Dashboard, and publish it when you're ready. You can read more about creating items in your Square library here:
