I ordered business cards that included a QR code on the back, it works great but there are no shipping fees or taxes included

Are you sure you are using a QR code for an invoice, and not something else?
We offer QR codes for checkout links - and a Pay with QR Code option, as well as self-serve ordering with QR codes.

Shipping is not automatically calculated on invoices. While there isn't a built-in method for adding a shipping cost to an invoice, you could create an item named Shipping and then add it to your invoice.
