choosing the right subscription

Hello!

I am completely mobile and sell via ecomm on Square; actually under-construction.  Wondering best subscription plan to be mobile, full marketing & social media.  I don't think I need POS?

Also, I am transitioning from Wix to Square; any advice to import pages/content from Wix?

I have uploaded my inventory(need to edit) but I can't figure out how to see items on my site then ofcourse have them be on the correct page?

TIA!!!!

Aly

Hello @SocietyforStyle thanks for your post. If you want to take advantage of the super easy marketing tools that integrate right into your Square customers, I would use Square Marketing; you can send emails to your customers with relevant content and links to actually purchase from your website. You can also use Text Marketing to further reach your customers wherever they happen to be located. And there is also Square Loyalty to encourage repeat customers....so there are a TON of great tools to help grow your customers.

You can also cross post any email content in your Marketing emails to Facebook and other social media channels, and then use reports within marketing to see which of your customers are most engaging with your messaging.

If you are selling in person (at events, trade shows, popup markets, etc.) you can use your Square App on your smartphone and won't need a full POS system. But you may want to check out Square's Terminal or Square's tap to pay card reader that will accept smartphone tap to pay and tap to pay credit cards.

As far as website creation, the easiest way to get your items online is to create categories in your Dashboard > Items. So when you go into creating a new website page, you can select "Category Page" and it will populate with every item already within that category. This would be an easy way to get started, and when you learn more about creating web content in Square, you can create specific pages with different inventory items.

Hi @SocietyforStyle I use the Square Online Plus Subscription Service for my ecommerce store.  At this stage of my business, it actually provides everything I need right now.  Once I start building that online business more, I might upgrade to the premium package because of the real time shipping calculations.  I also use Square email and text marketing.  I love that you can set it up to automatically publish your campaign on your social site.  Creating the campaigns are so easy and not so time consuming.  Since you're mobile I'm guessing that means you will do pop-ups and other shows.  I use the Square terminal for those types of events but you can use the Square app on your phone for that as well.  Also don't forget about the virtual terminal available through your dashboard if you don't want to use your phone.  Connect the card reader to it and it works just a well as the phone, terminal, etc.  I never used Wix so I don't know too much about the importing part but once you get everything transferred over you should be able to create categories you want your customers to see online and create reporting categories for your business reports.  Good luck with getting everything set up.
