Zoom an Image on Mouse Hover

How can I get a zoom an item image on the mouse hover on the item page before adding it to the cart in an online store? Sorry if I was unclear.
The zoom-in hover effect only works when presenting the item image in the gallery, but when going to the item online page, this feature does not work.
Do I need a minimum size of the picture to get this effect? Or maybe it will appear after the site is published?

Our Square website, when you go to an item page it doesn't have the hover zoom, but you can click on the photo and it will expand. If I remember correctly when we had our shopify store(years ago) we had to install a app/plugin for hover zoom.
