Wrong cashtag

I have cash app selected as a payment method for customers in my Square online. I noticed that there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to enter or verify my correct specific cash tag information with square. As a result, I do not receive the payments from customers who send payments through Cash App. After noticing I did not receive payments from customers who used cash app for paying me through Square , I contacted the customers and found out that my payments were being sent to the wrong cashtag or cashapp address. This is the only form of payment for which I have a problem receiving payment through Square. When this happens I have to ask the customer to go in to their cashapp and cancel the payment that went to the incorrect cashtag and then I have to give them the correct cash tag and have them re-issue payment. This works, but is very frustrating. I don’t know why my Square online account does not have a place for me to input my correct cashtag.

Hello @Brianslink thanks for your post. CashApp payments usually are just processed like any other credit card transaction, and that money gets deposited into your account just like any other payment. How did you setup the CashApp on your website? If you just turned it on with your payment settings, it should process like other credit cards. But if you used come code snippet that maybe was created outside of Square, the setting could be different, so you'd have to go back to how that code was created.
