Why does my online store say it is not accepting payments?
When I look at my website it says store not accepting payments can anyone help me understand why?

So what if I don’t have a ssl My store still won’t b able to accept payments?

We provide an SSL certificate for free for all Square Online Store websites; you might need to un-publish your site with the option on in Website > General Settings and then publish again to get it to try issuing one again. An SSL certificate is required to accept payments through your online store, yes.

How long would it take for my site to accept payments after un publishing and re publish

@Queenamina_ Typically it should be up and running right away although sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the change to take effect.

Hi, I have tried for several days to try and figure out why my website won't accept payments. I have linked my bank account and it says it is confirmed and I believe I have filled out all the forms. I have even tried to un-publish and re-publish hoping it will work. Any ideas on how to Fix this? Any help will be much appreciated.

It doesn't appear you have an active account with us so you wouldn't be able to use the Online Store unless your account was fully activated.
Please login to the Dashboard and make sure you finish setting up your account.

Hi ashc,
Thank you for your reply, I sign in to my account and click 'verify your identity' which takes me to a page where I need to put my name and a password. But before I even get a chance to enter my first name it takes me back to my dashboard. I have tried on several devices. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
