Where do I edit my order notes?
I was once able to add a note that gets added at the bottom of each of our order emails (below the order total), but now I can't find how to change it. Can someone please point me at the right spot (it is not an order footer).
Thanks!
Martin

Hey @martincib, before I look into this, can you let me know if you are using the Square Online site or are you using a different website builder?

Thanks for letting me know @martincib! With the Square Online site, you should be able to edit your Emails under Emails Setup (if the edit button doesn't come up for you, it's worth checking that your sender profile is all setup).
Here, you'll be able to add additional notes or image to the emails. One thing to keep in mind: the notes you add will be visible on all emails so they aren't limited to just one customer; rather, everyone will receive the same notes.
I hope this can help! Let me know if you are looking for a different feature and I can definitely take another look on my end.

Thank you Tra for your reply.
I added a sender profile as you suggested, and I can add a note there, which overrides the original note that I created somewhere else in this system (I'd still like to figure out where that was). However, just by adding one line as a note, our invoice now has large areas of white space, and the invoice for one item is 4 pages long, see below.
How can I remove those extra lines? I have removed all the 'spacers' from the form, but I can't seem to edit anything else (i.e. where it says 'Downloads Information').

I agree that doesn't look quite right, Martin. So that I can look into this further, can you let me know if this was a generic test email sent by the system or was this an order confirmation email that a customer received?
Do you have an example of what the old notes look like? I can try to look into this further and see where it might have been added.

The email above was an actual order confirmation email for a test order.
Below is what the email looked before I added that one line comment in the email builder. I entered the "Please be nice!' comment somewhere during setup just as a test, but like I said, I can't figure out where that was.

Thanks so much for sending those screenshots, they really help me narrow this down! From the last screenshot, it looks like the Please be nice! might have been an order note entered at checkout. If you check the order from either your Orders tab on your Dashboard or by going to your Square Online Site > Orders, it should come up as an order note.
About the spacing, I wasn't able to replicate the same issue on my end. It might have been an intermittent issue but there are some additional troubleshooting steps I'd love to try and see if that would help:
- Moving the text element above the notes
- Delete the text element and add it again
If that doesn't help, it might be best to contact our Support team directly for further assistance.
