Weebly shopping page need a new feature for in/out of stock

I asked Square to add a feature to our online store where customers view and purchase items from us.  The feature is an optional "in stock" check box that, when checked by the customer, would remove any out of stock items from the list searchable product,  Square responded that in order for it to get changed, I should post my suggestion in the Seller Community and ask you all to also request this change. If you agree with this change, please send an email saying as much to square@help-messaging.squareup.com.

I agree that this would be a nice feature. I havenʻt had customers request it. But one site I use for supplies (not a Square site) doesnʻt have that feature either, and it drives me crazy. I donʻt like scrolling through pages of items that are out of stock when Iʻm looking to buy something today.

As for my own site, I have tried to keep on top of items and mark them as Hidden if the stock drops to zero, even if I expect more stock in later. But that could be time consuming and impractical for some retailers.
