Website HELP
Is there anyone who can answer some questions? I've emailed/called and posted here and zero responses from Square Support
I've searched and searched and find lots having the same issues I'm having but the posts are dated several years ago. Surely Square has fixrd these issues by now
Picture size - I've tried everything mentioed in previous threads and no matter what I try either desktop or mobile looks ridiculous.
Same with type- I've changed the font size, ect
What is the magic size??? I cannot publish when either desktop or mobile site looks like a toddler did it

Hi Southerncustom,
Sorry to hear your frustration - Squares Website Editor is not the most ideal application - I prefer doing everything my self as this is what I've done with my main website as I have total control from using FTP, testing locally and ensuring my pictures and text scale properly for any device - you don't have the same control with Square but, it's possible to make many things work. I created my Free Square Online Shop and then linked it my main website. And YES getting your item pictures to display on a computer or smart device properly or scale is a challenge. After a lot of experiments - seems 720 x 720 for my items has worked the best for me. One trick I do is no matter what size my original photo is, I scale it to fit in a 720 x 720 frame with a background color that mostly blends in with the resized original. As for Font Size, etc., I really don't try to go outside the box - I just stay with the defaults as I've learned the more you tinker with things, the worse it gets. Just my thoughts of course. I'm sure others here may have some different suggestions but, I go with what works for me. The simpler the better.
