Transfered domain & Email problem
Hello.
I just transferred a domain from Google and now the email I had for that account is no longer working. I imagine I will have to check with Google, but I wonder if by transferring the domain, the email gets canceled. Thoughts? Please help.

Check your MX records for the email on the new domain. You may just need to re update those MX records on your new domain to point to the correct email you want to use.

Thank you. I apologize for my ignorance, but I do not know what MX is and I think I will have to cancel the transfer all together. I was using and alias with Google, and now that alias is gone, since the domain was transferred. Emails sent to that alias is bouncing, so I cannot confirm the transfer. It is a mess. Can I just cancel the transfer and try again?

No worries, MX records are the "mail exchange" records. Simply telling that email where to go to more or less.

As I look at the mx records and got the ones from google, they are exactly the same. The person at google said the domain is now with register.com. I am so confused. They said it takes 24 - 48 hours, but I think I am pass that. Please help.

Okay, So the MX records all match up fine. That is a good thing.
When was the transfer of websites first initiated?
If it is still within that 24-48 hour window, it is def a possibility that is the issue.

The process started on the 18th, but the confirmation took place today. However, the site was published and the link I believe started working on the 19th. I need to double check that date.
