I'm building a store for a restaurant. This restaurant only accepts pick-up orders. The problem is items on the square online website say out of stock. I tried restocking items to a higher value. But it did not work. When I tick shipping and pickup both on items editor out-of-stock label is gone.
What is the possible reason for this?
What is the correct way to set up an item for a restaurant that accepts only pickup orders?

PS- I have found a solution. Found out that I have not set up a pickup option on the dashboard. 🙈 After completing that and removing the tracking stock option all good now. 😇

I'm having a similar issue. I make my everything to order, no extra, so I don't track inventory on completed products. I think I have pick-up enabled, but I still get an "out of stock" label on all my menu items. I made sure to disable the "tracking stock" option. Could you explain in more detail what you did?

If this is for Square Online - you can turn stock tracking off. Just click the item and toggle off 'Track Stock':

hey i tried turning tracking stock off and done pickup only and tried everything and it still says "out of stock" please help

Have you tried enabling pickup orders in the dashboard?
Square online ➡ Fulfillment ➡ Pickup & Delivery, Go there and setup pickup option. That should work

Hello! I'm having a similar but different problem. We've been using our online store and inventory tracking now for almost a year with no problem. As of recent, even when there is adequate inventory, items are showing up "out of stock" on our online store. Can anyone help? Strange this would be all of a sudden.

additionally, we have two locations setup. One is fine and shows accurately. the other says out of stock?

Yes, thank you. I have already done that. On the line now for about a half hour with tech support and they are stumped but feel confident they can figure it out. I’ll be sure to post when they do. Thanks for your reply!

When I called for help- it actually wasn't the the fulfillment that was the problem- I had the stock quantity in there. It was the pick up setting. I needed to go in an update the pickup day and time and save it. Then everything showed.

I am currently having the same issue - I have done all of the things listed above and it is still showing as “out of stock”. I’m constantly getting messages from customers saying they’re unable to order anything!
