Thanks. That particular verbiage is not modifiable, currently. I suspect that Square has added this to comply with various federal and/or state regulations for full disclosure to people who use electronic communications with us. It’s a pretty standard disclaimer letting customers know that they should expect a response that might include marketing and such from us because of their contact request.
I’ll tag a few moderators here, but I wouldn’t expect that this message will ever be changed or removed. I can also say that in my 10+ years with Square I’ve never had one customer ask or care about this. This sort of message is everywhere on websites these days because, frankly, not every human being is all that bright and some might be unreasonably surprised that a request for contact could result in getting marketing and promotional materials. At least with this message, they can’t say that they weren’t warned. Ha.

Hey there, @pinkcricket. I’m not sure what screen you copied that message from. Could you specify where that message was and/or provide a screen shot?
Messages like this are required by the FTC quite often. Whenever customers elect to receive texts or emails from us for any reason, we must state this and also provide our privacy policies when requested. This is a standard part of doing business online/electronically. Not having messages like this can open us up to non-disclosure lawsuits and such sometimes. Also, I would imagine that most customers understand messages like this and just accept them as a normal part of doing business these days. I can say for certain that no one in my 10+ years of business has ever mentioned it, at all.
Can you be more specific about your concerns and what, exactly, you are trying to do?

We include such disclaimers both because it is required and because letting people know how their information might be used is the right thing to do.
While disclaimers on websites built with Square and other services of ours do change from time to time to make sure they are compliant with the requirements competent authorities establish, it is not possible to remove them.

Keep in mind, as a Seller you also have a responsibility to keep your customer's information private and use it only for the purposes they have agreed to. If you haven't created a privacy policy for your business, this thread has some helpful tips on how to do so.
