Pick up option not working

I have enable and checked shipping and pick up options as available/or on for my online store. Up until this afternoon, when my customers checked out, they were able to change from shipping to pick up. Now when they click change (to select pick up instead of shipping) it takes them to a new screen that says: "continue to check out for shipping method." I have turned my pick up option on and off, made sure all my items are available for shipping and pick up and the issue still wont resolve. Can anyone help me with troubleshooting this?
