Online Coupon for Buy One Get One?

Good evening!

I am trying to set my square up so that an individual can purchase one event ticket online and get the second ticket they purchase (in that same purchase) half off. Does anyone know how to do this?

I found how to create a buy-one-get-one discount for regular items, but I cannot figure out how to do it on the online coupon portion.

My customers need to be able to pre-register for classes to provide adequate time to set-up and purchase materials, so it won't work for them to register in-person day-of. I also want to limit it to one coupon per customer.

Hi @dbspaintparties.  At this time, there is no capability to to BOGO coupons in Square Online.  I’d usually recommend that you submit a feature request, but I know that this feature has been requested and is being reviewed by the online team.  Unfortunately, there is no way to know when it might be accepted and/or implemented.  Hopefully, Square will accept my feature request to combine all coupon/discount functionality into one account-wide list.  We will see.  

For now, all I can suggest is that you create a second item to be used by customers who want the second, half-off ticket.  Obviously it would be priced at 50% more than the item used by customers who only want one ticket.  It’s not ideal, but it is functional.
