Is there a way to have customers select parts of a set?

I've been having trouble searching for this question, so please forgive me if it exists. I run a small bakery and was wondering if there was a way to have customers put together a set of something that has different flavors.

For example, I want to sell 6 muffins at a discounted bundle. they come in three flavors this season. I've made the item that is the 6-pack of muffins and within this, I'd like to allow the customer to select what flavors as well as how many of each they want.

OR is there a way to have them pick which flavors they want and then type out how many of each at the end of the sale? Any assistance is greatly appreciated and if any clarification is needed feel free toask.

I use to run a Buy 3 discounted price... customers could buy 3 - 16 oz candles for $XX.   They could get 3 of the same scent, 2 of 1 scent and 1 more for 3 total or 3 different scents. 

I used Automatic Discounts.  Labeled the Discount as buy 3 for $XX.  When I would Scan 3 candles from Category 16oz this was automatically applied.  I am not sure if this works for online orders if that is what you are trying to do.

I have automatic discounts set up, but they break down after specific quantities, either making my bundles too expensive, or too inexpensive. What I'm looking for, it seems; is a feature that combines the two modifier types so that they can check a flavor box, AND input the quantity. That way, I can sell a pack as a menu item and have customers select the flavors and amounts as modifiers. What I'll do instead is text boxes labeled as flavors and do a text limit of 1.
