Is it possible to setup a clickable phone number?

If someone comes to my site, I would like the option for them to call me from their phone with a click.  There's an embed code section in the editor; however I have no idea what code turns a phone number into a clickable phone number for square.  Thanks in advance for your help on this!!!

I searched the whole database and I can't find anything that helps me out.  

I inserted a text element and entered a phone number in the link.  I chose- link to :phone link.   

I uncheck the title and and text parts of the element.  

All I get is clickable text that says "click here to edit".  My phone number won't show up on the page.

Edit:  If I could put it (a clickable phone number) on the right side of the header where there is a button it would be even better.

HI, yes, I believe that can be done.  

Here are the breadcrumbs and screenshots to enable.

Online Dashboard, Website, Edit Site, Header, enable toggle for Button, click Edit, Link To drop down click Phone Link, in Phone text line enter phone number without dashes, Save, click on actual button to change text from Shop Now to Contact Us or whatever you wish, you can also change the color of the button

Thank you for the response.  The breadcrumbs worked until I tried to edit the button itself.  If I click or double-click on the button, it allows me to change the color but not the text.  

Also the whole button disappears from the main page on the mobile site edition and reappears as a button at the bottom in the menu if pulled up.

HI, when you click on the button, it is hard to see the cursor blinking on it.  Try clicking once and highlight the text to enable typing.  The header will change when its on mobile.  While on your phone you may need to click on the 3 lines, which is the hidden navigation.  You can see how it looks on mobile from within the editor by clicking the phone image at the top.

Thanks again.  That didn't/doesn't seem to work regardless if I click and wait or double click.  I had the same problem when I tried to enter a text element with a clickable link lower down on my website.  I cant figure out how to change the text.

HI, can you please share a screenshot of the Editor button and Table of Contents on the page where the phone number is?  Yes, I did see the phone number on the page.  When I clicked both on desktop and phone, it directs to 404 Page.

I wasn't able to get back to it until this morning, but I did end up figuring out how to insert the text element at the bottom and make the link work.

I also was able to insert the text element and searched for "clickable HTML for phone number" and this is what I found: <a href="tel:"></a>.  I used this, but it does not automatically use the website font and style; so the phone number looks out of place.  Any suggestions?

If you would like to use some HTML embed code, you can @PractAcraft!

Our tools are not built to display phone links like that. However, if you Google search something similar to the title of your post here, you should be able to follow steps provided by folks online in order to embed HTML that will make your phone number clickable when customers are viewing from mobile browsers with that capability. Something like, "clickable phone number embed HTML code" should get you what you need!
