I am so confused, I just want a simple online store.
UPDATE: So I figured out the online shipping part but it still made me put in hours. I guess I don't understand the different between the online part and the part under home.

I am so confused. I use to own a brick and mortar store and that was easier to setup.
I am going through trying to set up my online store. That is all I want for right now is an online store and I don't have time to figure out shipping yet, so I want local pick up only. I have my Facebook customers from the store I had and to start out that is all I want. I have turned off google searchable for now.
It made me put in hours where this will only be by appointment because it is just a rental space at a place that is not open to the public. I can not figure out how to turn off shipping for now. I will eventually use it but I just wanna get open for the Xmas season for right now.
I have already figured out how to get inventory in and I believe I have done that part right. I can see the stuff listed. Not sure about the payments. Also something is asking about tipping when I have it turned off.
Right now I just want someone to be able to ordered an item, have it add tax, which I think I have set up, for them to pay for it and then send me an email about arranging a pick up. That's it, something simple but there is all this stuff and then I think I have something filled out and then it tells me I haven't completed it.
Any and all help is very appreciated especially for my sanity.

I want to go live on Sunday and I have not idea if I have anything set up or how to even test it. This is so frustrating.

Hello @GorillaGamesWI I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. I see a website in your profile, is that the one? I see you have some items listed on your site, but I'm not able to click on anything to order. I'm guessing you have added those as "Items" in your inventory. However I wonder if you have "online ordering turned on" since I can't click on it.
If you go into your square website dashboard, and then ONLINE, do you see anything about Accepting Orders?
Look over on the upper right side...(see screen shot below)
As far as accepting payments, Square will automatically handle this for you if your online ordering is turned on. You'll have to add a message about picking up....and you should set your ITEM you have in your inventory to PICKUP (rather than SHIPPING), if you don't offer shipping and you want your buyers to pick them up in person.

Gorillagameswi.square.site is the address. Don't remember what I put for the address. I have it set to not accepting payments because I am still adding a lot of stuff. I did figure out the shipping part and watched some YouTube videos. I was worried about the square part of it and after watching some videos I see I pretty much don't have to worry about that part just the online section. But now my big concern is if it will work. I don't see anyway to test it at all. I feel like it will most likely work but I want to make sure.

@GorillaGamesWII see the site, I think everything looks okay. Once you turn on ordering, everything should work okay. You don't need to worry about turning it on just to check it out and see/test. Unless someone is waiting at home to hurry up and click on something...you can turn ordering on and then back off if something isn't correct. Here is what I see right now on a quick screen capture...
If you want me to check it out once you have it turned on, just reply back and add an "@" sign before my name like this: @HC_Charlie and I'll get a notification and can try and quickly reply.

Hi @HC_Charlie,
Sorry to bother you but I am trying to get all my pictures in tonight and then going live. But I noticed on some of my games my stock is - and available to sell is -? I added them by a Excel Sheet and had the quantity as 1 on each one of them. When I go into stock it says there is 1 of 1 available. Any ideas? Nothing I have tried has work. I did go live quickly to check it and I was able to put it in my cart but it looked like I could have put another in my cart. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Ok I was able to upload an excel spreadsheet to add the inventory but what did I do wrong so I don't have to do this again. The original stuff I uploaded added the stock just fine, I don't know why it stopped.

I'm so sorry @GorillaGamesWI I did not receive a notification of this post (even though you mentioned me with an @ correctly). As far as the last pic you posted, I think you have to Enable Tracking, so you then can click on items to be allowed to be Marked As Sold Out. This should stop people from adding more than the quantities you have to sell.
