Free Shipping Verbiage, Inventory Sync

When will the free shipping verbiage be removed from auto-populating on the site?  Even those of us offering free shipping, ideally after a minimum purchase can't get it to stop showing up.  If someone orders something below the min, it still shows.  The shipping variable thresholds just don't work correctly - I just tested several of them again.  

 

Additionally, when will the inventory sync properly between the timeframe of adding inventory to stock and then it showing correctly on the website?  I added inventory yesterday and it's still not showing as available for an item, for example.  What is the turn-time in the system?  Other times, it shows immediately.  Also, editing variations always screws up the system - it won't show right away in the website at least right away I'm finding.  It seems almost like the answer is becoming to delete the item entirely and then add it back in, which is time-consuming and silly.

 

People don't want to upgrade when the basics of these ecommerce site aspects don't work correctly.  These problems are eroding confidence in Square and our customers shouldn't have to navigate these type of concerns with us either.  Some of the threads on these problems trail off into replies such as IT is working on solutions, etc., but that has been several years back it looks like.  Being advised to reach out to a support team within Square doesn't yield a satisfactory response either at times.  Please provide an overview of problems and the timelines promised by Square for when they will be resolved.  Please post that in a visible place upon logging in to Square other than all the separated forum discussions - it's confusing to say the least to have to search for possible resolutions / help.  Thank you for your attention to these concerns.

 

P.S. I just took the time to delete items that seem to be lagging to show up for inventory stock additions.  I recreated the items and then added them to the weebly site to show up.  That's the only way they would show up right away, so there is definitely a glitch in the system when edits are made to existing items instead that needs resolved.

Syncing of changes in your Square Dashboard to your online store should be essentially instant, although I have seem some instances in the past where they were some delay for one reason or another.

 

Where is it showing free shipping that you don't want it shown?

It shows within the checkout field.  It defaults to Free Shipping, so it's massively confusing to the customer and requires additional conversations with them / additional information posted on the site to navigate it.  The only work around seems to be to offer free shipping to coincide, but that makes the seller have to address price points, etc.  Pretend to shop in my store and you will see what I'm talking about.  After the email address and shipping address are entered, it populates under the Secure Checkout screen above the payment method. Since the thresholds for minimum shipments don't work correctly, this puts a burden on the seller to overly communicate what needs to happen.  This translates in less time for us to load information on the site, then less to sell, and less for Square to profit from also.  

 

The inventory sync seems to have improved this week, but there are still nuances and it requires deleting an entire item and adding it back in if there are changes to the variations (additions / deletions).  This is not practical as there could be a need to update a variation at any time.

What is the update to this for a resolution?  It still shows Free Shipping regardless as included in my attachment in the previous post.

I still don't see any updates on when this will be resolved.  Any updates?  This has been lingering for an extremely long time for users, for example.
