Discount coupon only on 1 day a week / apply a discount to an online order

We are starting to offer senior 15% discount only on Wednesdays, if they come to our location we give them the discount. I want to be able to place an online order as well. Can I create a coupon code through online that is only valid on Wednesdays without making one each week or renewing one?

The other option I was thinking about would be apply the discount when they pick up an there order, is there a way to apply a discount to an online order after it is placed?

Great question, @RealDealGrill.

There isn't a way right now to create recurring dates for a coupon, so you'll need to delete the coupon once the day has passed and make a new one with the exact same code. There also isn't a way to discount the order after it's placed, although you can do partial refunds. Coupons are probably still the best approach, though, since your customer will get the discount up-front.
