I don't remember paying a monthly fee for having the online store. Is the roll out of the upgraded plans for online new? So we will have 2 charges, one for the dashboard and one for the online store?

Our best-in-class point-of-sale software is completely free. If you manually opt for a monthly subscription, there will be a monthly charge, such as with Square for Retail. You can edit, pause, or cancel directly from your Square Dashboard here.
Regarding the email you received, if you were subscribed to the Weebly Professional site plan, please note that it's no longer available. Our aim is to provide you with a plan similar to the Weebly Professional site plan. You can view your Square Online subscriptions directly by clicking here.
If you wish to cancel this upgrade, please reach out to our Support team via phone for assistance.

You may want to provide some additional info as to what Square options you have. There's no charge for using your Square Account Dashboard and having an online site and using the basic POS App. That's the bottom line basics that we have however, if there's additional functions and features you need, then there are different packages you can purchase. Did you opt for additional features or bundles ?

This is the email I received. They are automatically removing me from the free plan to a paid plan. I have never paid for anything other than the monthly subscription. There was never an additional charge for the online website. I guess I'll give them a call. This makes no sense.

Hi yes, that helps. I just got off the phone with square. Apparently this plan is taking place of the annual fee paid to weebly. My weebly annual fee was $144. This new plan is $348 for the year. It's a huge jump IMO and I don't see the benefit at least for my type of business where I don't do a lot with online ordering but enough to keep it.
