Google/Bing indexing for search engines
Hi,
I've had a Square ecommerce site for about 6 months, I have spent some time building this with products, all looks great and stock connects with my physical shop which is perfect.
However....
I've done the Google/Bing site verification, submitted sitemaps all fine, but Google Search console is giving my hundreds of "Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user" errors for pages which aren't even close to being duplicates of each other. Meaning these pages are not indexed and therefore cannot be served on Google search. Google's recommended fixes are not possible through square online
Bing is a completely different matter, can see sitemap, can test URLs but None are indexing for bing search
Does anybody have any experience, or can point me towards a fix?
Square support were not helpful, just said there nothing wrong with the website and contact Google/Bing
Thanks in advance

Hey @David1927, thank you for your post, happy to provide some more information here.
We are unfortunately not in a position to provide any guidance on SEO for Square Online. However, we do have an in-depth guide to SEO that will help you get your site indexed and improve your ranking. The Ultimate SEO Guide was written by our resident SEO guru, so you can be sure all of the information is relevant and applicable to your website. We can also direct you to update SEO for your website and its pages, or your site items and categories. Additionally, you can learn more about Square Online SEO in our Seller Community
Additionally, please bear in mind that it can take a number of weeks for new Square Online sites to be indexed and unindexed in search engine listings, and even longer for a site to show up in the results for specific keywords.
If you are continuing to receive error messages from Google's side when you are indexing your items, Google has released an article providing details on how to go about fixing this issue on their support centre.
Hope this helps!
