Customer Accounts and Store Credit

I know that at the moment square does not allow customers to create accounts. This is a feature we would need for our business to keep customers coming back as we have a loyalty scheme. At the moment we do our loyalty rewards manually which take for ever as we have over 800 customers now. We know that square offers gift cards, but that's not really what we are looking for, especially since the physical cards are so expensive! 

In short, we want to be able to offer an actual online account credit or points system, so customers can earn as they spend, and then we can continue to use the physical gift cards as loyalty cards in our store, but if there was a way for square to offer actual loyalty cards that can link to their online accounts as well, then that would be the perfect world!

But in the mean time, I'd like to see at least customer accounts become a thing, and then hopefully a points/credit system which is automatically calculated/added to a customers account automatically after they have made their payment.

Square US have a loyalty tool, hopefully coming soon to the UK, join the Beta Community to be able to get on this first! I'm also going to tag @JessRog, and @kellyj in on this as well, as they may be able to add you to a beta programme once one is available : )

If you needed something more than this then I think you'd need to go down the developer route using the API's etc. & have your own built.
