One item, two carts?

If a customer adds a unique item to their shopping cart and continues shopping, can another customer add that same item to their own cart, essentially buying it before the original customer does?

I understand abandoned carts, but if 2 people want a single item what happened?

Good question. The inventory deducts items from your Square Online website when the checkout process is complete. Your customers will have the ability to add an item to the cart at the same time even if there is only one item available. Whoever checks out first will the winner!
