Hello! Every other week, I will be featuring rad sites built using Square Online by sellers like you. It’s a great way to pick up tips that you can incorporate into your own site!
This week I’m in a fall frame of mind, so we’re going to take a look at the website for Beasley’s Orchard in Danville, OH.
First, I want to draw your attention to the type of item being sold through this Square Online store: events. Beasley’s Orchard currently has a single item available through their online store.
There are many ways to handle selling events, but Beasley’s Orchard makes it super simple for their customers. After purchasing, you simply arrive at the orchard and give them your name - they compare this to their orders to confirm your purchase. All of this is made clear right on the item page that way customers can easily find the information.
Next, I want to highlight the consistent use of colors on their website. This is something that I’ve touched on in our Get Expert Advice on Your Square Online Store series.
Consistent colors and fonts unify your brand with your website. This makes your website look more professional and communicates a sense of authority and confidence.
And finally, the last point I want to highlight is the importance of attention-grabbing content on your homepage. You often only have a minute or so to grab the focus of visitors to your site, so you want to include something that will immediately grab their attention.
It’s a freakin’ apple cannon! If I were anywhere within 2 hours of Danville, OH, I’d gladly pay the price of admission to just shoot apples out of a cannon. And you can bet while I was there, I’d want to pick up some pumpkins and see what the food vendors have to offer.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below! Let me know if you have a site you want to nominate - just send me a private message (hover over my username, then click on the button in the popup to send a message)!

Is this a Square store site, or was it built on original Weebly, do you know?
(I want to increase the size of my logo but my options are pretty limited in Square e-commerce site.)
This is a Square Online site and wasn't built using the Weebly drag-and-drop editor, although with both there are some limits on how big you can make your site logo. The best approach I've found if you want you logo to be larger is to turn off the logo in your navigation, then use a separate section underneath your navigation and use your image with that. I took a look at your site and I think your logo looks good, but feel free to give my suggestion a try and see if that looks better to you.
