Anyone having issues with site security after pointing another website to their square site?
I have recently pointed my Wix website to my Square Site and since doing so it says that our site is not secure. We have unpublished the site but we are still receiving the same message. This is impacting our business as people don't want to order products from an unsecured website. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi Vmulligan, if you go to Squareup dashboard and go into your online profile. you can go through the different channel settings and sit traffic. you can also password protect your page if need be. I don't use wix so I may be missing something.

Hi @Vmulligan,
Thanks for writing and and sorry to hear about the frustrating experience with your SSL.
Usually, the reason your SSL cannot be propagated is because of the failure to recognize our IP address. You will need to make sure that the only records on your domain are as follows;
1 A - type Record with the host/value set as the "@" or the * symbol (depends on your registrar) pointing to "199.34.228.164"
&
Another A type Record with the host value as "www" and pointing to "199.34.228.164". After that, your SSL should propagate within 24-48 hours from setting the proper settings.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I spoke with a rep from Square and it appears that our Root Domain not have the right A Record, so worked with Wix and it's changed. Do I still need to change the A record for the "www" and the "@"?
Thanks
