SEO and Square stories page?

I'm at the point where the functionality of my website is almost where I want it to be. I still have a few "bugs" to figure out. While I sort them out I need to start planning my next steps. And that revolves around content and how that relates to SEO marketing. I completely understand that providing quality content on a regular basis draws more people to my site. This traffic flow then raises my value on search engines driving even more traffic to my site. The greater the traffic flow the increased probability of a sale, or in my case request for a service I provide.

I currently do not have the ability to record quality video content. Although I do have a few concepts I may explore in the future. For now, however, I created a story page using Square Online/Weebly platform. While I do intend on having an About page as well, that will only be a brief overview of who I am and what my business is about. (I could use pointers on how to write a good about/description page.) The story page will have a more elaborate explanation of how I became interested in knife sharpening. I'll break this down into several stories that I can release on a weekly basis.

For my first story, I researched the early sharpening methods when we first began working with metals and made brass and eventually bronze knives, daggers, etc. I don't spend much time dwelling on his. I concentrate mostly on Italian sharpeners that moved to the US where they pushed mobile knife sharpening equipment through neighborhoods. I also found a YouTube video interview with a man that was still doing this in the suburbs of Chicago back in 2014. I would like to embed that video in my story as well. To make sure everything is above board I want to cite all my reference material (with links) so I can't be accused of plagiarizing. Can I do all this with the tools included in Square Online/Weebly? If not, what can you recommend that's free?

HI, yes, you can add a video with +Add Section, select Video or Embed Code.

It won't let me do that at the end of the story I just finished. Won't let me add a section to that page either.

HI, what options do you have on the left of the Editor?

Select your story, select + to add a section, Add Section show more, scroll down to Video or Embed Code

Thanks so much! Driving me crazy trying to figure this out! Eventually, I'll be making my own videos, so this is very important going forward. If only I could fix an issue with an item (a service) that doesn't want to show up on my Order Online page. I don't have many products in my catalog currently, just need things to work as I need them to before going live.

Now that you helped me resolve this issue, I want to go over all the various tools included with Square Online to advertise my services. Are there any YouTube videos you could recommend where I can learn more about going over all the SEO aspects of my site on Square Online?

I could also use some tips on writing a good "About Me" description page as well.

HI, do a Google search for Square SEO.

From selling online since 2001 experience proves customers do not read. They find what they want, buy, done. At one time an "About Me" was popular, now it is more for the seller than for the customer.

Customers do not read. I, included. Too much word salad. Customers click into the website, see all text or long text and click out.

Well designed, colorful images, to the point descriptions, think SIMPLE. Less is More.

I understand what you are saying. I can't remember the last time I actually read another website's about me and/or the description page. Forgive my lack of experience, but I have been reading and watching videos that talk about how a well wrote about me page helps place you higher on a search engine. I know that after making a few more adjustments to the functionality of my site, I need to go over all my items and services and add SEO information there as well.
