Create my own automated campaign

Hello, is there a way to setup a campaign to automatically send prior to a customer visit? None of the automatic campaigns fit my needs and I'd like to have a Welcome email that tells clients what to expect when they visit.

@spatacular As a matter of fact, I think I have your solution.  You were just looking in the wrong place, and so was I initially!

Go to your dashboard -> Appointments -> Settings -> Communications.

First, be sure that “Send my Customers an Email Reminder” is toggled on, and choose your lead time.  Then, at the bottom is a section called “Email Notification Customization.”  Under “Automatic Notifications” you’ll want to customize one or both of the Reminder emails.  You can also customize your other appointment communications.

Set this all up and I think you’ll be on your way.  Let me know if you need anything else.

@spatacular Currently I know of now way to design your own automated campaign.  All of the automated campaigns offered have specific triggers that cause them to be activated for any given customer.  So, if I may ask a question, what would you see as your trigger for sending an automated campaign to a customer?  Is it adding a customer, or is the fact that they are a customer enough?

You can create your own non-automated campaigns at any time that would go to all current customers (or any subset of customers you specify) to tell them “what to expect when they visit.”  If you could explain how this could be automated, and why it needs to be automated, maybe I could help you with a work-around.

Thanks,

Chip

Thanks for the response @TheRealChipA . I would like an auto email to go out 2 days prior to a client appointment.  For example, appointment is Saturday, I'd like to send the email Thursday.  This email would include a link to complete a consultation form.  Any ideas without sending via my business email account? This is a time-sucker!  Thanks for any ideas.
