I'm considering no longer using the Square Loyalty Program. At first it seemed to work pretty well but I feel that the only customers that are really using it are the ones that would be shopping with me anyway. I would like to go back to collecting emails at the end of each transaction but since we have the loyalty program, it only prompts us to sign customers up for that and I can't find a way to remove that. I've read help articles but they must have been written a while ago because they aren't correct. Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of the sign up prompt at the end of a sale or is my only option, to get rid of the program? Also, does anyone know what happens to the earned rewards if I do end the program? Do my customers still get to use the earned rewards? TIA

Hey @DragonStar. So, before I made this post, I spent some time checking to be sure there hadn’t been any changes that I was unaware of. It happens, sometimes, and I didn’t want to give you incorrect information. Here are the answers to your questions.
The only way to get rid of the loyalty prompt at the end of transactions is to discontinue your loyalty program.
Also, though I wish it weren’t this way, at this time there is no report or export or anything that we can create to show us what points and/or rewards are available for each customer’s account. The ONLY way I know to compile one is to manually filter your customer directory to just loyalty customers, bring up each one and either make screen shots OR manually enter the data into a spreadsheet. Yes, it can be done, but it is labor intensive. In my case — having 2,288 loyalty customers right now — I wouldn’t want to attempt that.
Maybe a Square moderator will see this and correct me because of a “memo” that I missed. But I wouldn’t hold my breath here.
If my answer resolves your issue, please take a minute to mark it as Best Answer. That helps people who find this thread in the future.
