Intuitively, I thought this is how Rewards worked already and was surprised that this functionality isn't supported.
I don't want my customers (or me) doing mental calculus about whether they should "use" their points or not. The whole ideas is your points only go up and up and it's fun to see that happen so I would much rather have my program work based on point milestones that unlock the reward & tier VS act like a balance where points need to be forfeited to get the reward.
For unlocking tiers especially, this is unintuitive.
