Pricing
Square for Retail offers a plan with no monthly fees as well as a paid plan with more advanced features. Learn more and compare Square for Retail plans and features here.
- Square for Retail Free is available at no cost and works with single-location accounts that want to scan the GTIN/UPC to create items and ring up customers.
- Square for Retail Plus is available at €49 per month, per location. Plus works well for businesses that seek to keep inventory numbers correct as they are expanding to add employees, locations or an online channel. Retail Plus businesses love bulk workflows in receiving inventory from suppliers, labeling items for checkout, and for advanced reporting that shows profit margin and costs.
If you are using Square for Retail Plus, the processing rates are 1.6%+ VAT for contactless or chip & pin payments processed through the Square for Retail Plus app. Note: This does not apply to payments processed through the Virtual Terminal or the standard Square Point of Sale app.
