Stock showing Sold out despite inventory being available

Hi all,

 

Recently uploaded a new CSV file with all available inventory into the stock management for the POS tool and all items are showing as "sold out" despite the inventory being available.

 

I've searched and not found anything that is able to help me figure out why this is happening, and I'm wondering is this happening to other people, and if so, how did you manage to resolve this, if at all?

 

So far I've tried:

 

- manually edited some inventory items, saved, showing as in stock. Some however, default back to sold out when the page is refreshed. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to this, it's on random inventory items. However, theres over 5000 items uploaded and I really don't want to have to do this one by one...

 

- exported inventory, added the stock quantities to the "new quantity available" section and reuploaded. Still showing Sold Out

 

- removed entire catalogue and re-uploaded fresh - still shows sold out

 

- removed entire catalogue again and split the upload sheets into smaller uploads, same result, still showing sold out.

 

I'm due to open in a few weeks and I'm hoping to resolve this before then, the system still works so it's useable, but more annoying than anything..

 

Hopefully someone here will know or have other suggestions I could try!

Hi Ryan - thanks for flagging this and for the detailed explanation, it's really helpful. 

 

I would need to look at your account to confirm which we can't do here in the Community unfortunately, but I believe this issue is related to an ongoing service disruption we are currently facing. 

 

Our engineers are aware of this issue that's impacting a small group of sellers and are working on a resolution which should be rolled out soon. I will update you here as soon as it is. 

 

I just wanted to confirm - are you seeing the sold-out messaging in the Item Library itself rather than a Square Online site? @WhizzBangComics

Hey Breffni,

 

Thanks for the response. I'm not actually using Square online at the moment, only using the POS system on the app and on the online portal. So it's currently only showing as sold out in the item library.

 

Funnily enough, I have just gone into the item library to run through the exact steps I have taken to remove the "sold out" message, and my entire library is now no longer showing as sold out... so whatever your engineers are up to, it's working haha!

 

Thank you again for the response, but it would now appear that this issue is resolved 🙂
