Did you know that every adult in Ireland participates in at least four different loyalty programmes? Loyalty programmes are a great way to attract new customers and to turn every customer into repeat customers. And if thatโs not enough added value, these programmes can also give valuable insights about your customersโ shopping behaviours that allow you to personalise their experience, optimise your offerings and drive sales. In fact, participants enrolled in a Square Loyalty programme spend, on average, 33 percent more after they join than before.
There are multiple facets in building a dedicated customer loyalty programme. Using insights from the thousands of businesses that use Square Loyalty, the Town Square team have put together a great resource that will cover the best practices to create (and improve) a customer loyalty programme:
- What rewards should you offer
- When can customers earn their rewards
- Which loyalty programme formats work best for your business, whether itโs online or in-person
Looking to set up with Square Loyalty?
Square offers Square Loyalty to help you build your own loyalty programme. With Square Loyalty, you can create a digital loyalty programme and run it directly from your Square Dashboard โ without any additional hardware or punch cards. You can customise your programme to reflect your own brand, from points terminology, reward items, tiers and earning method. For example, a boutique can offer multiple reward levels, letting customers bank their points to earn higher-value rewards in higher tiers.
You can find some great tips on how to use Square Loyalty from our Product Team and Aylon Pesso (former Super Seller and owner of Pessoโs Ices & Ice Cream)!
