We have a client that paid an invoice with AMEX gift cards and then cancelled the event. My only option is to refund the gift cards, but she demands cash because she no longer has the cards.
Do we have access to the full GC number? If we can access this, we can refund the cards and it is up to her to retrieve from AMEX. AMEX says they need full number or receipt, she has neither.
Also, how do you access a human at Square? The BOTS are no help.

Hello @LMICCatering I'm sorry you're having difficulty with this issue. Have you talked to Amex about this? If they are able to find the transaction based on the receipt, can you provide them with a receipt that would show day/time the transaction took place, and they could locate the transaction on their end?
From what I remember in past issues, Square doesn't have or show complete credit card numbers. Not sure if someone from Square support can see total numbers or not. You can contact Support here:
