Why does my square invoice say that my sales tax is added, but the Total on invoice reflects the amount due is the same before and after sales tax ? This is not a subtotal. It is showing on my invoice the dollar amount of the tax after the subtotal, but it is not adding it into the total. Can someone explain to me why it is doing this and how do I correct it?
please 🙏 & Thank You 🌟,
Cat B.

It sounds like when you set up your taxes you choose inclusive tax instead of additive tax. That means there is tax so if the $100 item is on an invoice the total is $100 but the item technically cost $91.74 and the 9% tax was $8.26
you can change the tax setting here.
