How do I create a report with all sales for 2023 on?

Depends on which device you are using, an App or on Your Square Dashboard on a computer?

1.  In an App you Tap more then Tap reports, Then tap Sales, Then you can select Time Frame and Choose the Day you would like.
2. On a Computer goto your Square Dashboard : https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/ 
   1. Tap reports
   2. Tap where the Month and Year are which brings up a Calander and then you can either type in the Date at the bottom of the calender or use the arrows to back up to the month you like and choose the date that way.

With both of these ways you can select Quick Time frames like 1D = 1 Day; 1W = 1 Week; 1M = 1 Month; and finally 1Y = 1 Year.

So on a computer goto your Reports as described above, Click the month and year area bringing up the calender.  At the Bottom of the calender fill in the Date you want the Report for in both the Start and End Date area.  Press enter.  You can then Down Load this to a File.   If your good with Spread Sheets you could just select the Last Year button and then Download this report which may take awhile.  Open the Downloaded File and then choose Insert a Pivot Table on a new Page.  Then you can quickly select different Time Frames or dates as a filter.

One option is to export your Transactions details to a CSV file, then you can use an app like Excel to manage the data any way you desire.  (The canned reports work for quick searches however, they do not always contain all the data fields - exporting the data does.)

Login to your Square Account

Select "Transactions"

At the top in the date box, select the range

Then on the far right, select Export

Select Transactions CSV

Generate and download
